My son's PIR is 10/31/14. Would love to chat with other moms that have kids in Div 821.

Sarah - Thanks for the link. It really did give me an uplift and made me real excited to see the kinds of things my hubby will come up with. He does say the darnest things sometimes. I am also all up for black ribbon/gold letters. Fits our boys perfect! I am not hard to please, so whatever we get I will guarantee order a few for myself and his family. How big are they anyways? Do you guys know? Big enough to be read without squinting right? hehe

Hi everyone, I got a message from sarawithanh regarding ribbons. The black with gold letters will look awesome. They will also have very nice shiny stars and a shiny gold anchor. Usually the sailors name (first or last) goes on one side and the division number goes on the other side. I also need to know how many ribbons you want (men wear them too) your PIR date so that I keep the orders for each PIR together, and your name and mailing address so that I can send them to you. Send me a friend request and I will get your info and give you my mailing address. I hope this info helps if you have more questions please let me know.

Any letters today ladies? I highly suggest reading a blog written by a mom whose son just graduated. You can find the link on Group PIR 10/1.

Is anyone else getting ribbons for their "access list" ?? My little girl was sitting beside me reading the post and asked if she could get one, too.

I think I am going to do that too, Mel. I just feel safer with the, ' less is more' route.

maybe he was :( but I'm hoping not! Anyways, did our division decide on a color? Are these ribbons we would be wearing at the PIR or M&G?

So, on the ribbon issue, have we decided on black ribbons and red writing?
