Well guess we are joining the crowd of disappointed parents.  Daughter was doing well till they took out her wisdom teeth, placed on LLD, caught a cold and wasn't able to pass PFA's due to trouble breathing.  Went to hospital, had tests run, and is now being separated for asthma.  She was physically fit to join, but now she has a condition which is destroying her dreams.  Perhaps this is God's way of saying I something better for you, but I wish he would let us in on his plan.  Any insight as to what I should tell her as she goes through this process?  I already told her to make sure she doesn't get a RE-4 if she ever palns on trying in the future.  I am disappointed but happy that I will have my baby girl home soon.  The last 6 weeks with only a letter once a week has been tough, but know she really wanted to be in the Navy.

It's going to be quite a process to get her home. So get accustomed to waiting on the Navy's timeframe. We will certainly all be here when you have questions. My son has been in since Nov 15th and may get to come home next week. Every case is different and I'm not sure why some take so long. I suppose it depends on why they get separated in the first place.

It just never seems to end.  Yesterday we had to call the Red Cross so they could notify our daughter of the passing of her Grandmother who was battling cancer.  She cared or her up to the day she left for BC and took it as well as can be expected.  Will be calling today to see if we can get her home in time for the services.  Happy Holidays is starting to take on a whole new meaning.  Thanks everyone for your support and comments.
