Well this mama is sad and very worried today, My daughter has been in Greatlakes since Feb 28 the she was delayed getting into a division then when she did she failed her first and second run she made it the third time and then she along with 31 other females got put into quarantine they have been in quarantine for 2 weeks. TOday she called me and said she is not doing well and hse went to the psychologist. THey placed her in ship 5 and the psychologist said that more then likely she will be sent home but there is a small chance she won't. She didn't say what happened as there was people around but she may be able to call later.

Hi Louisa - any updates on your daughter?  Have you been able to speak with her?

Yes we have spoke with her. It sounds like she was struggling with coming out of quarantine and going into intense training as they had to make up for what they missed. As far as I can tell she basically told them she wants to go home so now her case is under review. She said she is labeled with a code 7-11. We are waiting to hear on the decision.
My son is there same reason. He has been on ship 5 for only 6 days. I pray if goes quickly for both. I miss him so much

Hello, wondering who is still active in this group I would like to ask some questions about your experiences. Thanks,

I haven't heard from son in 6 days. He said he would call me last Saturday, but he didn't. I'm getting worried. He is in the Separation unit. He has refused to take the Covid shot. Any way I can contact him?

ChicksMom03 - here is the # to the admin office, although I don't know if they will speak with you.  Your son needs to have signed a form giving permission to talk to you.  Try the # and see if you can get any assistance.

I'm also a little confused - it should have been made clear to your son from his recruiter that he would have to have the Covid shot.  If he didn't want it then he probably shouldn't have shipped out.....it would have saved you all some trouble.

SEPARATIONS ADMINISTRATION OFFICE ; 847-688-7444 ext 456
PUBLIC AFFAIRS 847-688-2405 if no word from recruit they will have them call back!!
