Hi all! Looks like I'm the only one with a SISTER-Sailor on this board. My little sis arrived last nite in Great Lakes. We'd been anticipating this moment for a long time. She's such an amazingly beautiful, strong willed, determined and dedicated young woman. I envy her strength and courage. I truly believe this was the best choice she's made and it'll take her very far. While I am extremely proud,I'm also saddened not to have her around to talk to and hang out with. Our brother came to visit last week from L.A. (we're in ATL) and we spent a good bit of time together. My 21 month old baby girl was asking for her aunt last nite.....It's gonna be odd going to mom's and Aunt Michell not be there. Well we're gonna start writing letters and coloring pictures to send to her. Talk to you all soon. Take care!

Hello Everyone! My brother graduated from BC on 8/13/10. He is now at Pensacola for A school. He is AO. I am a very proud older sister. We are best friends! I am so proud of the man that he has become. Seeing him last weekend I could tell he has really grown up.

Hi everyone! My name is Angela, and I have a brother stationed on the USS George Washington. I'm 26 and live in the Orlando area, and I must tell you, I'm not doing too well with his deployment. I'm here to find some support because it's hard to find people to talk to about being afraid of my brother being in the military and never coming home. He's been gone about a month now, so while I think I should be used to it, I'm really not and just try to put it out of my mind. Does anyone have any advice for coping or can offer some support? I've been through the sister bootcamp experience, so if anyone needs help with dealing with that, I'm all ears! I hope you all have a wonderful Saturday night! :-)

Hello everyone!! My name is Kristine and my brother left for Great Lakes, IL on July 8th, 2010 for boot camp. He graduates in Sept. 2010. I like the rest of you miss my baby brother something terrible. He's one of those people that can light up any room just by him smiling. Anyone else have a loved one in division 293?
