NavyMom2424, I believe when my son was there last year he had a friend in LS "A" school that had her own car. Not sure if this helps?

Does anyone know if the Meridian MS Logistics School allows private vehicles or if it is even recommended?

NewNavyWife - LS; my son is an LS and he went to Mississippi for training and is attached to an EOD unit in Borfolk VA. He will be stationed next in Korea.

Hey guys! I'm new to this group. My husband leaves for boot camp in 3 weeks and will be a LS.

Just wondering what stations your LS' ended up at for their first duty station!  I want to get an idea of what places they go.

We are really hoping for CA or WA.

Hi! They can pick stateside or overseas!
Mine got Japan on an aircraft carrier! Loves it. Spends half time on shore at half at sea.

Good morning!! My son is at his A school - he just started this week - PIR was last Friday. Do they have a choice of ship, sub, or shore? I am getting a little nervous reading the sub comments. I know he really wanted to do shore and ship. Thank you

Hi, my sailor just got reared to logistic specialist but there's hardly any information about the training and time frames online. Can anyone guide me tk the relevant places to read up on it? We're a little worried since our sailor doesn't tell us much too.
