OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

It's not a good idea to post a pic of your Sailor every time you post, especially if he is with the unit you mentioned at http://navyformoms.ning.com/group/sksupportdivision?commentId=1971797%3AComment%3A10172633. See change 4 in OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile) (clickable link). To increase PERSEC, don't include ANYONE in your profile pic.

Also make change 3 (see the words in bold) so that this page is no longer visible to EVERYONE (Anyone) with access to the web.

There may be other changes you need to make as well, so read and consider each of the changes.

It would also be a good idea to delete your comment at http://navyformoms.ning.com/group/sksupportdivision?commentId=1971797%3AComment%3A10172633.

You have want to do it and some test are harder then others.  You have toget70 to pass but if you want to move up in rank you have to  get 90 and above. Just encourage him  when he does bad on a test he has one more chance to do it better and equals out with the other test. Thats all I can tell you for now.
