OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hey Molly we have another snipe..
hey paige..my son got his orders last week..he wanted Virginia but no go..infact he got one he did'nt pick-but its all good Washington -aboard the USS Robert M Davis FFG60-smaller ship called a frigatte {?spell} anyway I connect with you in every sense of the way...I am freaking out...this is surreal...BC and A school compared to the emotions you feel when your sailor calls saying "I have my orders Mom" my heart left my body a week ago and I have not seen it since....I am just trying to keep busy...He will be coming home real soon but his orders have put a dampen on his homecoming, he doesn't know that but I can't help but worry..Good luck to you and your family
