This week is Navy Week for Southern California @ San Pedro. It runs through July 31. Tours start at 10 am & run until 4 pm. It would be nice if we could have a meet & greet Saturday. I plan to either take off on Friday or go Saturday.
Please let me know if you are going so we can try to meet.
- Westboro Church is claiming to be in San Diego tomorrow protesting the memorial of LCpl. Jason D. Hill. Please go and show your support for this fallen Marine and his family, and let the WBC know that we honor and respect those who fight for our country! Thurs., June 23, at 10:15 a.m., Maranatha Chapel, 10752 Coastwood Rd., San Diego, CA.
Send to other groups that may be able to help....
Thread was from Sparrow Six-Five (look her up on FB and like the page for continued updates)
I am not part of this group but wanted to share this to see if you could pass this along to all those in the SD area to support this family against this hate group
Thanks for the welcome, Rosemary. So you got a nuke--it's good to find company. From my previous readings, I was beginning to think that everyone from SoCal is a Corpsman. He originally asked to be a corpsman when he signed up but after his test results, his recruiter talked him into going nuke.
Congratulations on your son's achievement; I heard it's a very rigorous program!
