Susan, glad to hear you are doing better.  I will pray for you about your MRI on Monday.

Thanks everybody!  It's so good to be able to talk to him now when we couldn't for so long.

The weather there was pretty much the same as it's been here lately.  Sunny but cool.  I'd love to get to San Antonio while he's there, but it's not looking good.  Plane tickets are SO expensive.  My daughter is moving to Oklahoma for graduate school in May, but I think he'll be gone by then.  (I'm helping her move).  We can't drive since my husband is in school and he would only get a few days for any trip.  He starts classes in early December, so should be done by early April.

jacketfan24, can't believe PIR has already happened.  I know it didn't seem as fast for you but so glad you survived boot camp.  My son is also a Corpsman so if your son has any questions, I can give you his contact information.  Hope you can make it out to San Antonio while he is there.

Jacketfan24-glad to hear you enjoyed PIR. It was sooo cold when I went last Thanksgiving. That was an experience I will never forget.

Annm-please let me know if you hear anything about Susan.

Just got back from Great Lakes last night and the experience was great!  It's so nice to now have a Sailor!  We were able to spend the day with him and then met him at the airport at 6am until his flight left at 10am.  He is now in San Antonio at Corpsman school.

I hope all of my Sisters are having a wonderful weekend. I hope all is well since it is so quiet here. I woke up this morning and my sailor was sleeping in his bed. What a good morning.

Has anyone heard from Susan?
