WOW jacketfan24-glad you finally got the transcript. I know how stressful that could be.

Welcome Leslie-my son graduated in Nov 2010 and I can tell you if I did not have this group I would have gone mad. We are a bunch of great women and Susan is right we are not a little crazy. WE ARE A LOT CRAZY!!! The roller coaster ride is just starting for you and there are a lot of ups and downs so hold on for the ride of your life. And remember we are always ready to ride with you.

Finally reached the principal, who ran a copy for me.  He has PT tomorrow, so he can take it then.

Jacketfan24, you may be able to at least get a copy of it on line and get that to the recruiter and tell them you are working on getting a certified one as quickly as possible.

Getting very frustrated with my son's high school, who didn't mail his final transcript to the recruiter like they were supposed to.  There is supposed to be someone there but no one answers the phone and when my son went over there, the doors were all locked.  The recruiter told him they could take his job classification away from him if they don't get it soon, so he is a little stressed and of course it's got me stressed out too.  Trying again today...wish us luck!

Wanda, my son's roommate is on the USNS Comfort right now as well.  He is a Psych Corpsman.  You can e-mail me at tsuggs@hsblawfirm.com and I can give you his name.  I just mailed him the new Guy Harvey shirt with the Palmetto and Moon.  He has never been to SC yet but living for over a year with my son, he feels like SC boy, even though he is a Bostonian.

Welcome, jacketfan24.  My son is a Corpsman as well and will be starting his tour with the Marines in Beaufort, SC in January.

My baby came by the school to see me. He often volunteered before he left for boot camp.
