Happy Mother's Day Sisters!! I would not have made it through boot camp without you. Now I am sitting here watching my son pack his car and drive back to Va. Not feeling good at all. My baby is all grown up. Now I need to do something with his brother:)

Happy Mothers Day to a wonderful group of ladies!!! This morning I sit hear drinking my coffee in a quite house.  Children still sleeping, waiting for my day to start.  River Day!  The house was full last night, my Sailor had friends over, played video games all night.  Not sure when they will get up. My heart is happy.  I'm blessed to have both my children home, a husband who gets up and has my coffee ready.  As it should be!!!! Life is good~

I picked Louis up last night and haven't seen him since. I hope I see him before he drives back. I will not be able to sleep until I hear from him. This is the first time he will be driving this distance.

Hi All-Louis is back on land and back in SC for the weekend. Going to Carolina's graduation. Following is something a friend of mine sent me and I wanted to post it here. Happy Early Mother's Day!!!!

A Newborn’s Conversation with God

A baby asked God, “They tell me You are sending me to Earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?”

God said, “Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you.”

The child further inquired, “But tell me, here in Heaven I don’t have to do anything but sing and smile to happy.”

God said, “Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you.”

Again the small child asked, “And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me if I don’t know the language?”

God said, “Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak.”

“What am I going to do when I want to talk to You?”

God said, “Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray.”

“Who will protect me?”

God said, “Your angel will defend you even if it means risking its life.”

“But I will be sad because I will not see You anymore.”

God said, “Your angel will always talk to you about Me and will teach you the way to come back to Me, even though I will always be next to you.”

At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from Earth could be heard and the child hurriedly asked, “God, if I am to leave now, please tell me my angel’s name.”

God said, “You will simply call her, Mom.”

Susan - Thank you! I am crossing my fingers he gets Charleston. It will be a while before we find out (he is in A school now, and then will have C school). How close to the end of their schooling, do they get their orders of their home port?

Thank you! Yall are so nice! Do any of you have a sailor that is an IT? My boyfriend wonders if there are any, since Charleston is a weapons station and Michael would not do anything with weapons for his job. They have to have ITs everywhere, so we are praying we get Charleston! (:
