Hello Sisters-
Welcome Julie. You are among a great group of ladies. Did someone say lunch at the lake. You know I like to eat and after a few drinks we may ALL look a sight. So bring the cameras so we can embarrass our Sailors!!
Ladies I am on the government warpath today. My sailor told me that his pay is being cut. What the heck!!! I read that some military will not get paid at all. So much crap is going on. How can the gov send our men and women out to fight wars and not pay them. They need to be concentrating on the job at hand than worrying about crazy issues back at home. Do the gov not know that these precious men and women are losing their lives!! Death benefits will also stop if the gov shutdown. Do I need to go to Washington DC?? Sisters, you know I will go. I am hoping things will be resolved by midnight tonite.
Now that I got that off my chest, I want to say welcome to Julie again. If you think I am one crazy lady then you are right. I am proud to say I learned how to wear my CRAZY BADGE from my SC Sisters. Welcome to SC!!!
Hey ladies
Do you all know any shuttle services from the airport (o'hare) to the base?? Please let me know if you do.
Thank you so much
Well I am so happy for you Susan and Sandy. Enjoy your sailors.
Hippmom-I know how you feel but things will get better. Now you can go to her house, make a mess and leave it for her to clean up. Pay back's a *****! No seriously, it will be nice to go visit her. Having an empty nest might not be that bad. I am looking forward to my oldest moving to Norfolk when my sailor moves there. He is still in GL and don't know when or if he will be able to come home. I know I did my best in raising wonderful children and so did you. Now I can spend my time and money on travel, shopping and visiting me children. Oh yeah and spoiling my grand children.
Ladies thank you
