AnnM - I love it!  That was a great intro to the south : )  I am so totally looking forward to coming down!! We do not have central air at my house, so after years of listening to the boys complaining about it, now I can use it that I was conditioning them for their new lives in the South! Ha ha. I am laughing at myself, but they will just roll their eyes at me for sure!  LOL.

Starchild - Yay!! Norfolk!! Sigh of relief for you!!  And you will do great on the radio!  : )

StarChild - I have faith in you!  For all that you have already endured, this should be a piece of cake.  Breath in, breath out.  You can do this!

Hi Ladies,

I must say I am so nervous about this path that God is guiding me down. I have prayed that He guide me in the path He wants me to go and now that I am being guided I AM SCARED TO DEATH!!! WHAT THE CORNBREAD HECK IS WRONG WITH ME!!! I have had several requests for navy mom and the radio site has NAVY MOM UPDATE posted. I will let you know how things go tonight. The station is playing it early so Louis can hear.

Well Louis will be stationed at Norfolk. Sounds like a lot of road trips to me. Vincent said that he will be moving back to Norfolk. YIPPPEEEEEE!

Being raised in Ithaca, NY, and now having lived in Charleston for 33 years, I still think the North is hotter in the summer (the very few days it exists) because many places and homes are not air conditioned.  When I go home in the summer, people are ready to pass out in Mass.  In SC, everything is air conditioned from cars to Church to restaurants (freezing) to homes.  I cannot imagine, however, living in the South before air conditioning.

He will be coming home (hopefully) for the wedding, but it will be hot here too.  : )

me too!  it is very exciting.  kind of the extra stress edge to it planning it from home with the groom not here, but this is only the beginning right?? lol.  i just hope that his leave gets approved so that the plans can get moving. i am sure they will love it in SC. these 2 could live in a dirt hut and be content just being together, so from the great things i have heard about SC, they will be thrilled!

always gotta have a plan right susan? lol.  my SC sailor is planning an august wedding so it will be a nice opportunity for his fiance to see where she will be moving to.  my GA sailor will be quite happy for a visit, at this point probably from anyone lol, but definitely from the mama bearing goodies! : )  glad to hear that your sailor will be home soon too!  : )
