My dad gave me this pray and I wanted to share it with you;
Prayer for This Home
'My people shall dwell in a peaceful habitation, and in sure dwellings and in quiet resting places.' Isaiah 32:8
Our God, our help in ages past, our hope for years to come, I turn to Thee like a wanderer in the dark, seeking a way out of the noise and confusion of my life.
For Thou knowest, dear Father, how much noise and confusion enters into our home. Yes, I realize that many of the words and deeds are not always badly meant, but they do upset our home so much, Father.
So, today, dear Lord, I want to ask Thy blessing on all who dwell under this roof. Help us to bear cheerfully together any sickness, any sorrow, any hardship.
Bless those in our home who have jobs and duties to perform dear Father. And, bless any small children within our home and those who may have left it for homes of their own. Yes, Father, bless and keep those who have left our dear home for places far away.
Thank Thee, dear Father, that even this little talk with Thee has brought Thy spirit into my heart. I know Thou wilt answer my prayer and I thank Thee-I thank Thee for such comfort, happiness and peace.-Amen
Koz-you will do just fine during this roller coaster ride. I myself sent a message to RTC telling them that I was coming to knock on the door:) Desperate times call for desperate measures. We are here to get you through it.
Susan-"Tentative" sounds promising. We are getting closer every day. Can't wait to do the Happy Dance with you.
Sandy-where did you get the warmer. I love it.
Now for the update on my sailor. Susan, I told him that he was driving us crazy and he said that he did not want to add any more craziness to the already crazy navy moms. I told him we are proud to be Crazy Navy Moms. It is an honor and our right. He just laughed and said 'See what I mean'.
He met with his Chief although he did not tell me. His brother, the one who can't hold water, told me. Louis text me to say he may be going to San Diego or Norfolk. Now the family is wishing for SD because my nephew has been stationed in Norfolk and they want to go someplace different. HECK can't they go to SD without Louis being there!!!
Now my tattle tale son wants him to go to Norfolk because he use to live there and will go back and get an apartment with Louis. That would mean he would be moving out of this house. LET'S GO NORFOLK!!!!!
Susan- Thank you for that comment, it was what I needed. And I'm doing alright. I got a short 2 min phone call last night. (to tell me he Fedex'ed me a POA.) It was like a tease... Can't wait for the next one!
Tamme- Yes I am a member of both his PIR group and just his ship/div group.
Everyone else thank you so much for your words of wisdom, I appreciate it so much...
I just can't wait till BC is over with! So I can finally see him again... (34 days, 34 days, 34 days, you can do it!)
annm - What a wonderful man Mr Caulder is. My son and daughter both were in the school during his time there. I hear he's now retiring. Wow!
It takes a village to raise a child! Your village is doing a wonderful job, keep up the great work!!!
