Congratulations, BobstersMom! Isn't it amazing the stress release after that call? Safe travels to GL. PIR will be something you will never forget.
I shared the sad story of the Corpsman who was killed by the train with my son who is at A-school at GL. He had not heard of it yet. I feel so sad for his family and friends. Each day is a precious one.
I haven't stopped smiling! He told me that he would be calling back Sunday. He said that he could very well be a GradNGo but wouldn't know for sure til next week. I was hoping for more time with him next week, but I guess I'll take what I can!
My son is a U.S. Sailor!!!!! He sounded awesome and I am so very proud. I can't wait to see him next week!
StarChild - how awful, I cant imagine the sadness and the loss his family feels. Praying for comfort for his family and friends.
Here is the link to the updated story about the sailor at GL.

I am feeling better today although I have been in bed with a fever and headache. I have not heard from Louis lately. I hope he is okay. I heard that a Sailor was killed in GL after taking his mother to the airport. I feel for the mother. Imagine getting off the plane and being told the news. Sad.
Cindy-I am ordering something at this moment for those night sweats. Estroven is what I was taking.
Hope everyone is having a great day. And tomorrow is FRIDAY!! WHOOOOPEEEE!!!!
Thanks everybody for the support. My oldest son told his brother that I did not like his choice when he read the text. Then he came to me and asked me if I was happy about his choice and I said no. He told me that he told Louis that. I wish he hadn't but he did not hear it from me. I will still support him and lie if he asks me if I am happy about it. I don't want him thinking about his mom not being happy. I could just kill Vincent. I am feeling better about his decision and Patti you are right, I may need to get my passport ready.
It seems so weird that after Louis told me I became sick. I have had a fever, headache and body aches. But when I started accepting Louis' choice, I started feeling better. Was I really sick or was it all in my mind and I made myself sick? I can tell you one thing, those night sweats are a b****!
Love to all and have a great rest of the week. I want SNOW!!!
