Hello Everyone!!
Want to say Happy Birthday to Connie!! Hope you are enjoying it girl.
Jill I know it is cold but you are with your/our new Sailor so you should feel warm and fuzzy inside.
I received Louis' KEEL and as I was looking through it I started crying. I remember the feelings I had during boot camp and when I finally saw my son.
I have been a little down lately. Vincent walked down the steps and they broke. When the contractor came and removed the carpet the entire staircase fell. I had to walk the plank in order to get up and down. I was scared to death so I stayed in the upper part of the house. Thank goodness I was near the kitchen!!!
Well Sisters, I have to work in the morning so I will be turning in early. I am happy for everyone here but right now I am a little down. Have a great weekend.
Safe travels to everyone. Wish I was going with all of you. Christy, my son is also a Corpsman. He finished school in January 2011 so he must have been there the same time as Jake. I'm sure if I tell him he's at Gitmo he will know who I mean. I will ask him today. He is stationed at the clinic in Groton, CT. He will be there until next January when he will then go to the Marine Base in NC and unfortunately deployed.
Good morning everyone, we made it to Waukegan. After a very long 18-hour drive that included a snowstorm in Kentucky, we arrived at 4pm central time. We were dead tired so just now getting back on N4Ms. I am praying for everyone traveling today. It is 21 degrees here with light snow; they are calling for 1-3 inches here today. Lord let everyone have safe hassle free travel today. Denise and Sandy, looking forward to meeting you and everyone tonight, be safe!
Thank you ladies for your support and encouragement! I'm packing and getting ready to leave for GL tomorrow and will see my Sailor on Friday!
Ladies...I've got a US Sailor...HOOYAH! He scored a perfect 5.0 in BS21!
