Good Morning Sisters,
I heard that my son could call again soon. I hope so. Well breakfast again this morning but no supper. Got a long day today but leftovers will be good:) Still on top of the roller coaster and reading how others are going to PIR keeps me there.
Have a wonderful day!!

My son is headed to Aircrew Program when he finishes BC. All I know is that my brother, retired recruiter was absolutely thrilled about it. Bobby is pretty stoked too!

I don't know what to think now with this posting but I do know that none of us would do anything to put our Sailors in danger. I would like to know when my son goes through BS21 so that I can pray for him and all the SRs.

From FB:It needs to be broadcast loud and clear on that website, and then reiterated again and again! Love N4Ms, but many of its' new members do not understand the magnitude of what they are posting, and how it will effect their sailor! Many of the RDCs read it....U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command Using last names for recruits at RTC is okay. Using last names for Sailors in locations that could put you in danger if people knew you were a sailor is not okay. OpSec refers to information that is given that can be usefull to our adversaries. A question that should be asked before putting information out is; does the information I am about to put, no matter how small, can be used, alone or along with other information, by people who want to harm us.

Welcome BobbysMom. You have joined a very supportive, loving, caring and strong group. I am a new mom too ( 3 weeks) but I feel as if I have known my Navy Sisters longer. I have cried, been angry and down right pissed but I would not have made it through if it hadn't been for my Sisters. I was told about the roller coaster ride when I joined and believe me I have been taking that ride for 3 weeks. Up down Up down-I found emotions that I did not know I had. I may be new but I have learned to be supportive as well. So welcome aboard and hang on cuz you are in for the ride of your life.

Susan- I am on a roll so my family is doing a happy dance too. Ha!!! When I get the letter he wrote I will be good until PIR. His friends are telling us when they get their letters so that is almost as good as getting one myself.

NEWS FLASH Operational Security just gave up and let that crazy woman from SC in the door to see her son. Details @ 11.

AN ALERT FROM FACEBOOK: U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command Please do not give out specifics about tests, specifically times. We need to get people think early about Operational Security. Although Battle Stations is just a test, while Sailors are in the fleet in a situation like Battle Stations giving out specific times compromises the Sailors safety.
