Good Morning Ladies,
Today is my favorite day of the week. I just love our contemporary service at church. My son used to play the acoustic guitar in our service so I feel he is with me as I sing and pray. Connie and Annm I continue to lift you all up in my prayers. We are all gonna make this journey together, just know I am here for all of you. Stay strong South Carolina Moms!!! ;-)

Hi everyone. I am not a South Carolina mom however several Navy Moms are planning a trip to the Charleston area in June an was wondering if any of you know of a condo or house that does not cost to much for us to rent. The dates are June 10th to June 14th.
I really appreciate any input. If you know of a nice place to stay that would be helpful too. some are staying at the Country Hearth and Inn but I would really like a kitchen and someplace for us to migrate. There will be 5-11 of us.

Thank you so much and I hope we can meet some of you while we are there.

Connie, I have you and your son in my prayers. I know your heart is breaking. Try to enjoy your time together. Even if you cry it is ok. Your tears are liquid prayers and your son will understand. Navy Hugs to you!!!

Thanks Annm, Connie and Susan! So glad to be part of the SC Mom's! My son leaves for boot camp March 24th. We plan to see him on the 23rd and take him to dinner but he prefers not to see us on the 24th. I understand he wants to become totally focused on the morning that he leaves opposed to being upset or should I say, seeing me upset. ;-( But I know there have been many before him and there will be many after him to serve our great country. Thanks to all of your sons for providing the freedom that we enjoy day after day. Chad is very excited to begin this journey. My daughter is married to a sub-mariner in Hawaii, so I do know how it feels to only see family twice a year. Not in love with that part. That is when I get teary!!! Hope you all have a great weekend and will check in with yall later. ;-)
