Barbara...I just checked this site. Sometimes Ryan doesn't answer his phone especially if he doesn't know the number, glad he cooperated this time. Wish I could give him one last mom hug before he goes. This was just ment to be. I will never be able to repay you for this great act of kindness. I showed the pictures to people at work and they all said the same thing "he looks like he's 14" he wouldn't like to hear that though.
I've heard places in the south totally shut down when it snows. This is strange to me too. Few southern folks know how to drive in the stuff unless you were raised or lived in the North.
Kim....Thankyou also for the offer to make the long drive for Ryan. You are a wonderful person. Barbara was closer .....whew right LOL

OH Barbara thank you thank you. I've been stressing about this.
My son will be arriving at Ft Jackson today. He ordered a years supply of contacts but they didn't arrive before he left his base. Thank you USPS over night delivery AHH. A new shipment will be arriving to me on Tuesday and I need to get them to him. I believe he will be at FT Jackson for 3 weeks for combat training. Since he won't have a Military address on this base can I send them to you if it's not too much trouble and have you get them to him?. I don't know where at FT Jackson he will be yet (do navy IA's go to a certain place I thought he said camp something) once I find out his schedule or whatever I will let you know.
We Navy Moms sure need to stick together. Was your nephew Navy?

He will only be there for 3-4 weeks for combat training then he going to Afghanistan for a year. I don't know if he will have an address at FT Jackson (since he's only there a short time)and my/his problem is he ordered something overnight delivery last thursday and it wasn't received before he left his base this past Monday. I am in the process of traking down the pkg and need to get it to him before he leaves the country. So my hope was that maybe a mom lived near FT Jackson I could mail it there and she could get it to him.
