FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

The parade was a great success and thank you Mom27 for coming.  I really enjoyed getting to see you.  Keep me updated about the one you are working on for Indiana.  Will you message me about it?

Mom27 and all. The parade is a go. Our application is accepted. So right now. The parade. Is Saturday sept 14. 10am. So we need to meet at 9 am and organize. If you an on coming definitely I need to know. If you message me ill keep you updated that way too and we can exchange email addresses. U will tell you where we meet at 9am that as we draw closer. This is a go now. Wear anything that represents military or patriotic or navy blue and white or navy Nd gold or red white and blue. Also bring poster size photo of son or daughter. Put their name. Where hometown is. And where they are stationed or deployed. If you want to contribute one bag of candy for us to pass out is great but up to you. Also we will be passing out navyformoms brochures to help other moms learn about us to help them. And if you have any family members that want to support with us they are welcome too. Also invite any smaller brother sisters nieces or nephews to decorate their bikes patriotic and join us too we want to represent out servicemen and women.

Ok it will be nice to meet some other parents of Navy members. I miss getting to talk to my daughter all the time and most of my friends don't understand what it is like to not be able to talk to your child everyday especially when they are underway.

I'm in Ohio and we are having a parade in Mason, Ohio and I'm seeing if there are any Tri-state moms interested in marching in a parade with the Navyformoms.  It is Sat. Sept 14 at 10am.  if you are interested let me know.  I will message you with more details.

To Alex's Mom  Tina...what is your last name and your son's name. He may know my daughter. When did he graduate ? My daughter graduated this last year (2012).
