Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Wishing everyone a Happy and Blessed Easter. My son and his Division will be doing battle stations tonight so please keep them in your prayers.

Hi Mar-Beth how are you? Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the meet & greet this Saturday, my daughter has scheduled herself for the ACT test and I will need to take her early in the morning and pick her up once she's done. I'm so sorry I can't make it, I was really looking forward to meeting everyone. The weekend of the 18th my son graduates from boot camp so I will be in Great Lakes and can't miss that, LOL but I will look forward to attending the next one scheduled for.

Is the South Florida group still meeting on the 28th?

Hi Cheryl, we're not too far from each other,I'm here in Miami. My son left on the 18th...since you got the box you will probably get a letter from her today or tomorrow. They usually allow them some time to write on Sundays so if she was able to you should get it this week. Stay on this site for a lot of support and information...I recommend you join the boot camp moms group, they are a great group of women and are very supportive. Hope you hear from your daughter soon. I am out stalking the mailman today, lol.

Hi Cathy, my son also left for bootcamp this Wednesday. I just went to your page and I believe your son was with us at the airport. If you personal message me and give me your email I will send you a picture we took with the group.

Hi Cathy, my son also left this Wednesday. I hear they are expecting a lot of snow next couple of days. What part of Florida do you live in?

Donna I would love to attend but unfortunately won't be able to make it to this one. I'm all the way here in South Florida. My son just left for bootcamp on the 18th.
