Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Space A Travel Eligibility
Ok, this is a very important link and I hope it stays valid if I forget to update it. Just so everybody knows, legal dependents are now allowed to travel Space A while their military sponsor is on deployment orders. If you don't know what this is it is very simple. You can fly at little cost almost anywhere in the world on a government aircraft. You sign up on a list and wait for your number to be called. So, if your sailor is deployed to say, Japan, you can jump on a Space A flight to Japan for say 30 dollars. I don't know the exact amount, but it is cheap. Take a look at this, Google Space A travel, you will get all the answers you need. If you have more questions, ask.

well the navy made the desion for us! they wont pay for us to move to sd until hubby s due to report here! but guess it works out that way for the better now i will be able to see hubby every other weekend! or so and he says he can drive to me so that will be better! and gman navy- lol yes im sure i have a baby here! he just never really crys lol!!! have u decided what ur doing about the whole cherry point thing?

just found out his c school in in jax fl this really sucks! living in pensacola now! he can move me to sd before he goes to c school. im trying to decided if i should stay in pensacola and see him on some weekends it five hours away, we have a 8 day old and five year old! would he be able to drive to me on weekends or would i have to drive to him? or i could go to sd where all my family and friends are. def hubby and kid our my number one pirority but if he cant drive to me every weekend then i dont know if it would be good to driver kids back and fourth every weekend i dont know what to do. he would nto be back to us until nov 22

question- hubby got orders to san diego! he grads in middle of aug! he said we get to move to his duty station before he has c school which he just found out that he has! he is not sure where c school is at yet! he will know soon and he thinks it may just be in san diego where he will be stationed, if so will he be able to live with us during c school how will that work???

Hi all, please if somebody can help me? what do i have to expect? can i live with my husband right away? or Do i have to wait more time? please help me, i want to know please. His classes for AM already started almost three weeks ago. Thank you.

and navygurl- thanks and we are not going to live on base housing. probably find a apartment or somthing in poway. my hometown is sd lived there 20 years so know the area well! how long u been station there and dont know if u can tell me on here what squad he is... but curious or what is his exact job?

that's ok. I feel like a nosy neighbor but I am bored as hell and we still don't have orders yet. She says maybe next week or the week after!! Congrats on SD, my sailor still is undecided on where she wants to go!

hey! sorry gman to be so quick with u today we were in a hurry! but yes monday we got our orders for SAN DIEGO yessss where sooooo excited! did you guys! where too? let me know, no baby yet but if i dont go into labor before monday im getting induced monday at 8pm :)
