One thing i will say ladies EVERYONE when you move to a new base first thing or first place rather you should go is FFSC (fleet and family support center) everything is free and it is a plethera of information for us (families) they will help you with EVERYTHING between things in the area, info about the base, finding a job, creating a budget, volunteer work, classes to learn more about the navy lifestyle, mommy and me groups, groups to meet other wives any and everything you can think of they either have, or will help you find the way to get it.. Like I said, FFSC is there for Families and is FREE to all military Dependants so use it!!! and they are usually very very nice (ours in kbay is amazing and VERY friendly and helpful) and they have monthly classes you can sign up for (also free) from anything between auto- learning how to change oil and tires for when hubby is away, to game shows like 'are you smarter than your spouse' - those are new the lady told me about those last time i was in there but its an AMAZING resource and i can not say enough to use it because they can and will help you find what you need!! thats their job.

the POA he can get it thru his command from the yeoman and fill out the paper and then the yeoman will do the rest, or else he can go to navy legal and they can get it for him it takes like not even 15 mins to get one.

They do, if you are married prior to coming to a new command/base then you qualify for a spouse program i forget what its called but u have to be married prior to coming to the base.. also fleet and family (every fleet and family) helps with employment! they have an "FERP" i think its Family employment readiness person or something like that haha but she helps with resumes and jobs and all that and they have books to flip thru that are updates every 2 weeks with current positions availiable in the area. :)

My husband doesnt have the boomer patch for digis. you can put them on if u want, but my hubby says its just a waste of money and its not required unless you really really want it on them (my husband is on a boomer)

:) all his Digis just have his name, dolphins, and then the collar devices. :)

its the patch that goes under the dolphin patch on the digi cami.  i really wished someone knew, i cannot ask my hubs since the boat email is messed up. i mean i can always have them put it on and if he doesnt need it then he can just take it off but that would be a waste of money...
