Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hey everyone!! I haven't been on n4m in a while but figured i'd stop by and say hi and see how everyone was doing!! any new kingsbay girls yet?!?!

 

not a whole lot of new stuff going on with us... hubby is FINALLY home!! :) and he's working on putting in a packet to go officer.. thats about the only new stuff going on with us tho!

We heard from him!! He tried calling me 4 times, and I had my phone on vibrate!! I could just punch myself! But he called his mom and told her his address and said he sent letters out yesterday:))

@Ashley- we got ours 2 weeks after he got there and some got there's 3! It will come!! And then you can send him allll the letters and cards you've been writing!

I hope I'm maybe a week ahead. He arrived in GL, Jan. 20th in the evening. I just can't wait to hear from him. I have so many letters to send out, more like notes.

Well ladies, I have yet to receive a Form letter or a box. Could it e possible that I'm just ahead a week? I'm so anxious it's killing me!! Lol

@ emily- yay! glad you got a house.. what street do you live on? i think it was grayback the street we lived on.. we have moved so much i cannot remember haha..yea the 4 plex is big enough for a couple but not big enough for a couple who have a toddler running around haha.. we felt so bad for my downstairs neighbors with my son running around but they said they didnt mind cause his little feet sounded so cute against the floor haha..
