Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

yea he was exhausted but he wanted to go to school so he was 3 hours late today but better late than being absent. But he had a blast at the concert last night so glad it didnt goon all night cause it was being held right behind my house.. kind of cool having seether in my backyard haha.

it's american schooling but run by the department of defense.

 

what a crazy night we had went to a Seether concert and came home around 8 pm tried to got o bed figuring my son had school and my nieghbors decided to throw a party so we ended not being able to go to sleep till like 1 am this sucks no school for the boy

my son did 1 yr of pre-k and 1 months of kindergarten in GA they kept saying that there was something wrong mentally with my child ( military docs said whatever he is normal) took him to WA did the rest of kinderarten yr there and they said the same stuff he might have aspergers is wayyy behind blah blah.. got him tested for adhd/add which he has a slight case of brought himto Guam held him back in kindergarten and is excelling they are wanting to put him in the gifted classes cause he is way beyond his class. they said that i shouldnt have held him back but it didnt hurt him it will only help him.. and the curriculum is way better in DODEA

ummn i am not to sure on how long it will be 2-3 yrs i think. yea he did sonar supervisor school in wa.. we liked wa as for a shore duty type of move but not a sea duty :/

 

we are hopeing to stay here for shore or go some place else over seas the DODEA schools seem to be way better then schools back in the states for my son..

CT 6 months, GA 3yrs, WA 1 yr, and now we are here in Guam for 3 yrs. and no my hubs has not done shore duty he oblaserved (lol i dont know how to spell it) meaning he is doing back to back sea tours.. when we are done with this command he is up for shore duty.. he could have done shore duty but we decided not to..

kate g- yep we are excited about him being home he has duty christmas day but will be hom on christmas eve.. 

 

thats cool how your fam celebrates on the 24 and his the 25 works out prefectly.

yea.. its cause of the time difference Navy fed computers are eastern time so when navy fed gets updated midnight their time it will be 3 pm my time. :/ 

 

ouchy on the wisdom teeth coming out the navy wants to pull mine but nope my teeth lol..

hate waiting till 3 pm to get paid this is what i get for moving across the big blue lol..
