i never went to town for anything lol when my hubs went to sea i only left base to take my son to speech lol..
i am used to small towns too that is why we chose kingsbay loved the small area but when my son got older there wasnt much there as for entertainment wise.. and the mosquitoes omg i swear the mosquitoes there are the states birds them things are freaking huge stock up on repellent lol..
i don't think they are bad bad off base like they were on base ..
the sub ball in kingsbay is usually held at jekyll island, very pretty
sub ball is where ever a sub base is.. sub ball is fun getting all dressed up, nice dinner, champagne, and dance.. hope ya'll enjoy kingsbay not much to do everything is in fl, there is a walmart in kingsbay :/
@ bonniemae- hi thanks for the welcome.. and i hope finals went well
also
i agree if you keep your nose clean then you wont have anything to worry about.. the sub world is soooo small and the guys gossip just as much as the wives so everyone and everything knows your business.. my best advice is Don't air your dirty laundry in public.. ;)
plus,it makes me sad to hear all the negativity and competitions going on who hears from their spouse more being a sub wife isn't a competition we all support each other in whatever the other is going through cause we are all going through the same thing and understand whether we like each other or not.. our guys are out there working together (disliking each other or not) why cant we.?.
sorry don't mean to preach :(
i think the sub ball is in april or may..
and i have asked around and now one knows anything about a royal wedding... the only royal wedding i know of is prince williams wedding next yr in august (i think that is the month they chose) lmfo..
