Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!
Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!
Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I'd rather not have friends than get caught up in drama.. Or make friends who arent involved with subs haha but I really do hope I meet at least one not crazy wife on his sub :)
On another note:: Justin graduates his schooling tomorrow and he's coming home!!! He hasn't been home in 6 months!!!!!!! I am Soo excited haha this is going to be a loong weekend! (he's driving from CT to la) haha his dad is at the Airport now gunna surprise him :) he thinks he has to drive allll the way by himself! He has no idea :) I wish I could see the look on his face when he sees him!! Ah happy Thursday everyone!

ummmn never heard of a Royal Wedding.. but there is a Submarine Ball and Navy Ball.. and i think there is a Surface Force Ball (not to sure on that one but i think i heard of someone going to one)

Mrs.STS- mind if i as what boat?
i hate when they start the whole competition stuff but i reassure them that they will to get an email soon and that no news is good news.. i dont think they get mad but a tad bite envious cause you got word and they are longing to hear from their spouse..

navywife, thats true.. our boat wives are TERRIBLE tho... for instance... first day i moved down here my neighbors husband was in the navy and she asked me what boat mine is on.. i told her and she said.. ooooohhh, thats the biggest boat for wife drama on the waterfront haha.. i just give up on talking to them now.. in my eyes if i get an email its no ones business.. they'll get them when they get them and i'll get mine when i get mine.. bc once someone finds out someone has an email everyone starts getting mad ive noticed if they dont get one.. its just rediculous.

Johnnymacsgirl... only problem with that is they know from last patrol that i get prolly the most emails of all of them... my husband likes to write home and skips out on a few minutes of sleep or takes tie out of the time he has to eat to email me.. which most dont do... so last patrol i got about a million emails.. this one we agreed to him sending one a day lol but they still think i get millions hahaha oh well :)

Drama is everywhere and yes some of the wives will run their mouth but if you don't give them something to talk about then they wont talk..and you have to be really careful of who choose to be friends with..
i know i have asked if one wife has heard from her hubs just to see if the email was up and running cause anything can go wrong 1 time my hubs email was down and another time they had his email in the system wrong.. I always treat others as I would like to be treated. if they need a question answered such as email i give them an answer hoping when i need something they will be there to help in any way they can.
i'm sorry you ladies are having to deal with high school drama.. keep your chins up and keep smiling..

yeah, you'll meeet pleanty of people to become friends with, a lot u'll meet will be from the boat if u go to the frg meetings and stuff but that doesnt mean u have to be friends with them. :) I go to the meetings just to get info on stuff. but havent gone to the last 2.. So far this seems to be a very 'drama free' patrol compared to the last, so thats a good thing.. im just more so getting annoyed with all the wives asking a million and one questions trying to see if anyones gotten an email or if they've heard anything... it gets annoying!!! lol its like seriously, i want to hear from my husband as much if not more than the next person...... but life goes on!!!!! i love my sailor to death and a lot of people aare jealous of how awesome our marriage is.. but when we get an email we get an email! lol its not in our control or our sailors control!!! they just are getting crazy!!! its annoying, i was joking about it with my husband in an email last night bc i know he'll laugh about it since he knows how i am towards most of the wives and that ive just gotten to the point thati dont care anymore, im starting to get mean. hahaha its awesome. he's prolly laughing hysterically about it too... ahhhhh it makes me happy to make people go insane over certain things when they act as thon the world is ending. :) hahaha (but im usually not like this, this patrol is just ANNOYING!!!) lol
