Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

We are already married... but i love this picture so im going to post it lol we took it ontop of the big sub outside of one of the gates here on base. :) if u ever come to k bay you'll know what sub im talking about

when my ex was in bootcamp i met another wife whose husband went to bootcamp same day mine did same plane and same division and everything it was crazy.. she lived like 1/2 hour away from me and her and i have been best friends ever since.. shes in norfolk now and i go visit her every so often.. i was actually up there for thanksgiving this year! it helps a lot having a close navy wife near u to talk to

emily- the boats are constantly out.. just depends on which crew.... if he gets sent down and his crew is out to sea then he will go to NSSC and they will BSP him out to meet up with hsi crew depending on how far along they are in the patrol. so it really depends on the crew, boat and which crew has the boat at the time and if the boats in refit and all that

aw :/ i really don't know what to say.. but just give it time. he'll come around, soon. Just don't think about it. maybe he's trying to trick you. don't expect the worst! Just keep your head up and let things work out on there own!

I feel like that also, hopefully I'll actually meet some wives and fiancée and gfs when I go to Georgia.. Otherwise all I will do is work clean and sleep while he's gone, which isn't fun at all!

And I'll post pics, 2 weeks!!!! Beyond excited!!

Kate- Hes on the USS maryland, and supposed to call tommorow i believe to see when!!

and todayyyy i started my transfer process in work!! I am so excited!! i'll be there mid january ahh!

So i'm most likely going to be in Kings Bay in Jan! Ahh! So exciting! but do any of you know when the boats leave? or when my sailor should know? i don't want to move there and them him leave like the next day, that would be lame.

And might i add i was super excited today! I got a honeygram from my husband! our boat frg has them for sale before they leave and the sailor or wife puts the dates on how many ever they buy and write a decent size letter in them it was SO amazing getting something! i havent had any contact from him for weeks!!! stupid no email! lol i got 4 for him but dont remember what days i put for him to get them LOL... it was a VERY nice suprise!!! :D :D
