Hi Dor! How are you?
Hi becky, I am hanging in their with sailor gone and middle son in Afghanistan. We are going to visit the youngest who is at AFB in Nevada in 19 days!!!! how are you doing???
I am good Dor! Missing Kyle of course but other than that what can I say! Great that you are going to Nevada. Wish I could say the same about Seattle! One of these days when he has time for us to visit I plan on going. Next year he said things are too busy for that. Sigh! Take care and have a safe trip if I do not get the chance to write.
Hi - My son is going to be stationed on the USS Jimmy Carter. Such an honor for him and I am thrilled!! He graduated from boot camp on February 18th and has been in Groton since then. He graduates from sub school next week and then has leave. I'll finally get to see him! It's been a long 10 months.
Hello to you both!!
Hello everyone and Hi CJ, my nephew is on the Carter as well, he is an EM2, just received his new rank about a month ago to PO 2nd Class. Reported there in June when he finished his Nuclear schooling in SC. First time I saw a special posting for the Carter. Great that there may be a special place to stay in touch.
Hi Becky, my son is a PO 3rd class. Have you been to any of the events they've invited family and friends to. I wish my husband Tony and my other son Brandon and I could go to one. There is an event coming up on Mar. 2nd, 2012. There will be a new CO taking over. I'm on disability and my husband is in the process of getting on disability. In May of 2007 I died and was in a 2 wk. coma and spent 4 wks in the hospital. So I have greater appreciation of life now. I just found out I have cataracts but my son Anthony went out to sea before I had a chance to tell him. I probably won't get to talk to him for months now.
Hi CJ, Really no plans on the March 2nd event. But you never know things do change. Talk to you again!
