My son was supposed to ride on the La Jolla for a mission this month but it got cancelled.  Christmas came early as that allowed him to come home to WA for a week and he will now be at home in Hawaii for the baby's first Christmas!

Hi Dee....Welcome to our La Jolla moms group. I'm glad there are other La Jolla moms joining our group. I hope you had a great time with your son and he enjoys his time in Hawaii. Merry Christmas!!!

Thanks Jackie

My son won't be joining the boat unless another mission comes up and they need a CTI group on board. I hope your son and crew have a great holiday!

Hi everyone! My son, Kyle, will be joining the crew of the USS La Jolla in February. He graduates as an FT in two weeks and he (and I) are very excited that he will be going to Hawaii. I look forward to learning from everyone as we start this new adventure!

Welcome BoomerSoonerMomma. I'm excited your sailor will be joining the La Jolla crew.My son has been with the La Jolla for a 1.5 years and has been on one deployment already and several underways. This sub is very active, as I'm sure most subs are, so your son will be very busy once he gets to Hawaii.

If you have specific questions, please let me know.

Thank you Jackie! I appreciate you responding and looking forward to getting to know everyone!

Blessings to you! I will be joining the Facebook group as soon as my son is actually in Hawaii.
