Paulette, I'm not near Kings Bay, but I hope this helps. Your son Rob will not be taking care of himself. He will be watched over by his fellow sailors and most likely a Chief will make sure he is OK. They have a lot invested in their submariners and don't let anything happen to them.

Is there any mom near the kings Bay Base?? My son Rob is having his wisdom teeth done on Friday, all 4 at once. And if someone could just check on him. I know the Navy will take really good care and IF he knew I was asking would probably say I'm nuts, but I would just feel better knowing a mom was able to check and make sure he was ok, and taking care of himself. crazy right. thanks Paulette

Darn. Oh, well. Good things come in small packages. Please tell Wendy you want a straight release - no 72 hour release clause. In real estate terms, this is when your house is under contract but subject to the sale of another property. If another offer comes along acceptable to the seller, the seller gives the first buyer a 72 hour (or 48 or 24) to put up or go away. You'll want Wendy to know you mean business! I'll throw in the family silver. I am off to get some zzz.

Below is the youtube link. Left click to highlight. Drag you mouse to highlight the whole link. Right click. (A little window will show up) Point your mouse on "copy". Left click. Just underneath the menu bar (where it shows File, Edit, View etc), you'll see something that starts with "http://......" (This is the web page your are viewing) Left click anywhere on the bar, then hit the delete button. With you mouse still on the bar, right click. (the little window will show up again) Point you mouse on "paste" and left click. You have just copy and paste the URL link on your browser. Now left click on the green arrow or "go" and the Youtube video will show up. It's even better on full screen. Look for the little icon to the right of HD and left click on that. Just copy and paste the link below into the body of your email to send to family and friends. Save you sent emails and you will always have a copy of this link. Sometimes I keep a file (a MS WORD file or Excel) of interesting links. You can also save it as a "Favorites" on Internet Explorer browser or Bookmarks on Firefox. I loved the video.

Oh, Bea, your offer is SO TEMPTING!!! But, I've been trying to negotiate with Wendy for quite a while now. I'll tell you what... if she won't accept my final offer of one cow, three goats, AND four chickens, then I'll make her sign a release so you and I can start talking!

Daughter won't have any qualms about the 4 babies, but the 6'1" thing might make her hesitate... she's only 5'1". Does he come with a stepstool? ;-D k.

Hi Wendy. It took me a while to get this video on N4Ms. The way I was able to do it was through myspace page. I went to youtube sent it to myspace then right click copy and paste it to N4Ms. I'll see if there is an easier way to do it and let you know. Unless there is anyone out there who know how to do it. Hope this helps you.

Wendy, I hate to keep pestering you about this, but are you sure you don't want to strike a marriage contract between Jim and my daughter? I'll "up" my offer to one cow and three goats... what d'ya say? ;-D k.

I don't know if we have any Moms with kids in DEP or who have just left for BC. If you are out there or if any of you are on other lists please spread this message. If your kids leave for BC, don't drop them off your health insurance until they graduate from Great Lakes. A friend of ours recently found this out the hard way. Her son re-injured himself while at BC. It was determined that he couldn't stay in that branch of the service and he was medically discharged. Since he had not graduated from BC and it was determined that this was an old issue from before he joined the service they would not pay the surgery he will need. His parents are now trying to get him back on their policy at my husband's company. They told his parent that they would have considered BC as school and they could have kept him on until he graduated. Just thought I'd mention it here in hopes it helps some one in the future.
