FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

hi evr1 for my sons halfway we got to make them boxes of goodie we got an email telling us that we had so much time to get a ladies shoe box of stuff sent to the ship and then they suprised our guys with our gifts..........it was big fun i ran around getting little things from everyone close to my son..........they had a good time ......they had a great chief, i think that makes a big difference

Colleen graduates from high school May of 2010. The first mom to get a plane, train, or bus ticket to me is the winner! ;-)

By the way, I'm not 50 (barely), but I get my "grandma" fix when my 37-year-old sister brings her 5 & 3 yr old girls to "Aunt K's" house! I have so much fun playing teacups and dollies... then I'm so happy to see them back out of the drive with Mommy! Hugs, k.

I just did a Google search on "retired naval association," and got SEVERAL groups of various kinds of retired Naval personnel. Go get'em girls!

Hi Evry1 I'm back and my friend is doing good.now for that rolodex.......I'm ready
my son is going to be 26 and I think we will work it out on hs own so we can just focus on me............lol. it was funny his boat just popped its head out of the water and he called meand i was telling all about this N4M's and he is so happy that we have have each other and it sounds like we are having fun...."and please tell them to find someone for you it is time for you to have more fun mom"..........lol.....and Cheryl Kellen said the same thing till he reenlsted....

yes they are for subs........females can go for 12 hrs and male family memebers can go for 2 days

ok time for some Navy mom prayers .my bestfriends husband just had a heartattack ...and they are lifeflighting him...so I got to runn ...........thanks bunches for the laughs tonight
