No he put in his wish list, but we're just waiting.  He says he's most concerned with getting his initial qualification on ELT. He says once he gets to his boat he has 8 weeks to qualify on ELT or he gets moved to surface which he says he doesn't want.

When your son when to Hawaii did he bring his vehicle? If so, any insight on how that works?

Welcome CSW.  My son is at sea. They are in an ocean, probably the Pacific, but I'm not 100% sure about that. That is how it is sometimes.

Just in general, does your son have some idea where he is going?  My son used to be stationed in Hawaii, but is based out of Kitsap Washington now.

My son has completed his time with the Navy. I'm excited to have him home and looking forward to his next chapter. I sincerely want to thank ALL of you for you support throughout the last 5 years. I didn't post a whole lot but your words made me feel like I wasn't not alone in this. Blessings to you ALL!

CO_Twin,

Have you been to the Polynesian Cultural Center? Or Wamaia Bay or Hanama Bay? Great places to see

Went out to welcome my son home from deployment. The got in early, so when I was flying in, I spotted his sub below me in the ocean!! Fun. Had a good time. Got to tour the boat and they let me play with the periscope and poke around the kitchen.

My son took me to the cafe at NOAH where there catch their own Ahi and have about 8 different kinds of Poke`. Yum.
