Would any of you moms want to meet some time for lunch or coffee?

Hey Ya'll  My son called me this morning.  He passed his test and has his yellow card.  He said some of the guys did not pass.  They get to go to some night school and get to try again.  I am glad it is him and not me, I never did tests well.  I decided not to use autotrain to bring his car - I heard some really crummy things about the sleeping conditons, bathrooms and food.  So - I will soon be going to CT. in his car - driving -  when he gives me the word. I hope it makes it up there and no a/c - yuck!  He does have a great radio though and I can play DVD's while I am driving- I don't think so.

Thanks Dana and navymom2013. I am new to this whole environment, but quickly learning as it won't be long till my son is in A School then off to work. I am excited to meet some families in the area and to support our troops.

Thank you Dana. Looking forward to helping with the parking parties and meeting other families making the sacrifice.

Hi everyone and welcome Michelle and eljac913!  It's great to have newcomers to the TB M&G group.  I share myself between Molly's Adopt a Sailor project because there are activities ALL over the country with this group.  There's a real bonding between everyone and they have groups monthly that we can all help.  Some months we can and some we can't.  Everyone understands and that's the beauty of it.  We just had a great community donation and shipment to the USS Stockholm.  I'll stay in touch here whenever we have something local.  Pop into the Molly's Adopt a Sailor group and join if you wish.  Once you join, you'll see all the adoptions.

It's great!
