Hi kimstn... Hope you won't have to cry either, but if you feel the need, you've come to the right place! My daughter is almost halfway through bootcamp. I'm in the Knoxville area. Welcome!

Rr Sooo Sorry, West TN moms meet every other momth. I must have been thinking about an upcomming trip to Knoxville when I said East.  However it sounds like you could have a get together. All I did is post where and when and Moms show up. Everyone picks up their own check, Its that easy. Everytime weve had 4-5 moms.

My daughter's PIR is 4/13/12.  I was just wondering if anyone else has a sailor with the same PIR date?

I got my first letter today! My daughter seems to be adjusting well. I had tell somebody who understands my giddiness!

Mchughes90-- my daughter spent so much time with her boyfriend that her sisters started to complain! I guess she needed that "controlled separation". After she'd left for BC, I saw a note she'd written her sister asking her to "look after Mom because this is hard for her."
