My daughter just left for boot camp Wednesday(1/18). I have gotten that very short and to the point phone call, and now im just waiting on the letter telling me everything.
I am from Chattanooga Tennessee ...My son has been in basic for a week.....I just about freaked out over the boy dying yesterday in basic...he was not from Tennessee but so sad for the other mom.....He collapsed during physical training...Does this happen often?
anyone from TN sons or daughters leave for bootcamp last Wed? (1/4/12) My son flew out of Nashville.
Thank you Judyann, I dont know what your son is going thru but he is in my prayers. God will get us thru this, when we get weaker, he makes us stronger, Hope everyone had a great holiday and many blessing to all
hope everyone had a gret Thanksgiven. Our sailor is deployin Dec 5th and we thought we were not going to get to see him before he leaves, Wed nite we were sitting in the living room and we hear his voice, I thought it was a dream, he suprised us. We have enjoyed our visit with family and friends, but today all good things must come to an end. Please keep us in your prayers, as we do all of our sailors and their families
graceism, Yeah for your PIR! Next Dinner is Feb 13 at Colletta's in Bartlett.
Judyann, we'll be praying for your sons strength thorough this difficult time. Some women just dont have what it takes to be a Navy wife. If you think he'd enjoy some extra Christmas cards send me his address as a private email and we can load up his mailbox.
Happy Thanks Giving everyone!
We had 5 thanks for asking. And scheduled another for the 2nd Mon in Feb.
Rebecca did you plan another get together?
