Beverly, You and their family will be in our prayers. A very similar accident happened to a 24 yr old family friend on 9/9/11 and she is still in a coma. We have scheduled some meals to be brought into the hospital. The website is www.takethemameal.com it's free and has been a life saver in coordinating; it's easy to set up. Someone from a church recommended it; they use it to take meals to elderly or needy families.

I loved the I am a sailor call. Had my phone on me at work..and I was working the floor that day...I remember getting the call and jumping up and day and yelling, "it's him", then running up the aisle way at Sarah telling her he was on the phone....we were so nervous, excited, people were staring, but one of my ASM's was like, her son is at Boot camp, and this is his I'm a sailor call...had so many customers congratualting me then!!!!!!!

I had no idea they had BC at FLA at any time!  My hubby was in, went through BC early 80's and it was only in GL at that time...maybe it had just changed?  I don't know the exact date he was in--we weren't married then.  I wanna say 82 though or 83 for BC...

sherri(michaelsmom)...you are absolutely right 2 weeks almost down...soon I will be receiving the 1st REAL phone call...(smile)...I hear boys are more brief in the letter writing than the females...(smile)..My Sailor said the food was good too but she is kinda challenged with the choices because she does not eat meat but she had no complaints...all I can say it is NOT her moms bootcamp (I was in Bootcamp about 30 years ago...when it was in Orlando, FL)...but she is getting the experience she is suppose to have for her growth...thanks for responding and the encouragement.....have a great weekend...
