gracieism, isn't it great to get the letter.  I remember it like yesterday, but my son only wrote 3 lines---on the bottom of the letter, and it went something like...I'm ok, still alive, miss you all, food is actually pretty good, I'm eating 3 good meals a day.  Tell sarah hi and I miss her and love her )that's the wife--was his gf at the time.  I just laughed...it was like he was finally eating 3 meals a day, cause you know, I never fed him!

Anyway, keep us informed on her progress as you get letters, etc.  Before you know it her PIR will be here!  I know you don't think so, but it does go by rather quickly.  It's been almost 2 weeks already (you said this was what day 11), so see, 2 down!

Hello Fellow Navy Moms!  I know many of you have been through this process a long time ago but I just want take you back for a moment...the FORM letter...yeah, I got my form letter today....the one day that I did not run to the mailbox...then it came...I was so excited...she did take advantage of the opportunity to write a lengthy note on the back of the form letter....It took 11 days to get here. I am so excited...she did not have a lot of complaints about what she is experiencing but she also knows that it is suppose to get worse...it is still early yet...so I am staying up until I get all of the daily emails that I am turning into letters printed out and ready for mailing on Monday.  Honestly, I was getting ready to go over to my neighbors and see if perhaps one of them had my FORM letter placed in their mailboxes by mistake...so God spared me AGAIN!    namaste'

I'm not going to be on N4M's very often for a while a dear friends daughter age 24 is fighting for her life at the Med after a serious accident. If I dont reply on here im not being rude (just busy).

The next few weeks will be hard, but these Navy moms are the best and can lift anyones spirits.
