I'm in Clinton, north on I-75 from Knoxville....about 18 miles north of Knoxville.  I work in East Knoxville...not to far from Morristown.

Hello All, I'm new to this group.  My son is in boot camp now....his estimated PIR date is Sept. 16th, he is going into the NUKE program following his PIR.  I live in the East TN area and look forward to meeting ya'll.

thank you kdbqtn. I will try to get more info. I go to Hendersonville once a week so I may stop by Vandy and take some books, fruits, just a few things to let them know we care and thinking about them. I know myself if I was in this position, I pray someone would be there to help me.

thank you kdbqtn, yes time will fly by way to fast. A place was found for the mom to stay while her son is in Vandy, thank God for answered prayers. I will try to find out what the families name is and maybe some of us can go be and see this family and see if there is anything we can do for them. We never know when we might be in this position, God bless and have a great day
