OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Congrats on the box. It brought tears to my eyes remembering my box...

You'll get a letter in a couple of weeks. And PIR will be here before you know it.  Search for PIR and your date in the group section and you can chat with moms in your sons group. That will help. Navy Moms are the best, and someone's always standing by to chear you up.
