Hi middle Tennessee moms.   Saturday is our quarterly get together.  Please send me a message or RSVP on the events tab if you think you will be able to make it.   This will help in securing adequate seating.   See you in the morning at the Flying Saucer.

I will be there on January 11 - looking forward to it.  For the life of me, couldn't figure out how to accept, so consider this my acceptance!!  Hope we have a good turnout!

That is actually how I found you! I work at Olive Garden and I saw you all come in. I spoke to a lady and she told me to look the group up (:

Hi, everyone! My name is Kasey. My sailors name is Jesse and he is stationed in Norfolk on the USS Gonzalez. I live in the Tri-Cities. I just found this page and was wondering if anyone on here lives in my area or has sailors on the same ship as my sailor? (:

Hi there Middle TN moms.   I'm so sorry for the delay in getting back to you.   We've been handed quite a few surprises this past month and I'm afraid I've been very busy.   Looking forward to January, the Predators have a home game on the 11th, holiday weekend on the 18th, and the circus is in town on the 25th. Since the Predators are playing at night and we usually meet for lunch, I propose Jan 11th as our next meet date and we can try the Flying Saucer out (which is where we were heading in November before we had to delay).     Despite the many curves my family was thrown this month, on a happier note I am excited to announce my sailor is getting married to his long time girlfriend while home on leave.   Wow, it looks like I'm about to become a mother in law.  :)   Hope to see you all in Jan.

Stacy, I am open to any date you come up with in January.  Even though it's sometimes a pain trying to meet downtown, I am still open to that idea.  I do like it, though, that Nashville has so much to offer people on weekends in the city.  This is a great place to live.

Enjoy your sailor's visit over Christmas.  Mine will be somewhere out there, floating around the deep blue sea, hopefully enjoying the goodies we are getting together to send him.  Last I heard from him was when they were in Dubai, which he said was amazing.

See you in January!

Talk about rotten luck in planning.   Wow.  We've had our share this month.   Next weekend Vanderbilt has a home game, Titans have a home game Thursday night, and the Predators have a home game Saturday as well.   With that said... parking is minimal, hotels are scarce, and restaurants are expecting to be booming.    Since we had to reschedule for last weeks marathon, may I suggest we delay meeting until December or later.    My Sailor will be home on the 20th of December and as you can guess, I'm pretty booked up from then until after New Years.   Can't wait to see him.   Please post a reply here with dates that you think will work for you and we'll reschedule for the one with the most votes.   Honestly, with the holidays and my kids being home for college, etc, the best time for me would be January.   So, I'm putting the first vote in for that.   Any other suggestions or ideas.   Of course, if you prefer to meet next weekend, we can always move the venue out of downtown, which would also work.   Just let me know and I'll do my best to get the word out.  Thanks.
