Hey! Andie here! I'm in a suburb of Chattanooga. My oldest son arrived today in Monterey, CA. He is doing 2 years of A School for CTI. I really wish I had found this site about 8 weeks ago! Anyone else from Southeast TN?

For those who don't have their Sailor with them tomorrow, Thanksgiving, I hope your time with them will come very soon! You will be in my thoughts and prayers tomorrow.

Happy Thanksgiving, Tennessee Moms and Sailors (and families, of course)! My son will be driving the 10 hour trek tomorrow evening from Pensacola to spend a few days in this wonderful state. He hasn't been home since Spring. Excitement abounds here in upper East TN!! I am thankful!

Yes, that will be nice for him to have family around in Florida!! That is great that he will be coming home for Christmas! (We went to Dollywood this past weekend....Christmas now doesn't seem so far away)!

Great!! We have east TN respresented! My son graduated boot camp July 30 and was a Grad and Go....and has been in Pensacola since then. We took a longggg vacation (almost 3 weeks) and went to Pensacola recently to visit when he was able. He had phased up so we got to see him everyday. We camped on base in the military campground---it was nice to be a "part." He is 25...so a little older going in. He is in aircrew and currently in A school. He is coming home for Thanksgiving AND Christmas!!! yeah!
