Bell Buckle Cafe is supposed to be cute, but I've never been so I can't say myself. Then, the little town of Bell Buckle is also supposed to be cute with little stores. It would be closer to Nashville than Lynchburg (Jack Daniels) is.

Cool Springs does have a lot of restaurants! And then there is always the mall and surrounding shopping.

Another thought that pops to mind is the restaurants near The Parthenon in Nashville...the Vandy area. Could eat and then anyone who wanted to go to the Parthenon could. Also, Centennial Park is nice as well.

Well, where did you all meet in Mboro? I guess that would at least give us a start as to what sort of venue would be needed. It sounds like several people are interested. I am in Tullahoma, so a bit away from Nashville, but certainly close enough that I could come up. There is a place (Miss Mary Bobo's) over in Lynchburg that has wonderful food. They do sit down lunches and there would have to be reservations, but it might be a good option down my way. Afterwards, if anyone wanted to tour Jack Daniels distillery, they could. It is free. I've never done it, but I understand that it is a good tour. (I'm not trying to promote drinking...just offering up ideas.)

Wanda - I'm north of you in Springfield! We definitely need some rain. I'm a country girl so we've got about 60 tomato plants, 20 pepper plants, zucchini, squash, okra, cucumber etc etc and I can my vegetables. Won't have any if we don't get at least a shower. Need a little cooling off too!
