Welcome Klunkette...I am new as well but all the members here welcomed me and made me feel as though they will all be so supportive. My son leaves for BC July 15, so he's right behind yours by a few weeks.
I have heard several times how much my son will be changed when I see him at graduation...cant imagine that but something I look forward to.
Sjr23...My son is also going to be a corpsman

Morning All....Another hot hot day in store for this part of TN. Are you all experiencing that as well ? Thank you Marlo and Rebecca and Suzie for your welcomes. I appreciate that. lol yes Suzie, I happen to know where Atoka is lol. My mom lives over there. Did your son go to MHS ? Mine graduated in 08. My son is on his way right now to go sign the new contract saying he is now leaving July 15th. Thats good and bad. Means I dont have to wait too much longer, and I can get BC over with sooner. Im sure he would agree. He is ready though. I think you are right Rebecca, I will be glued to this site during that time. Hope you all have a wonderful day today !! :)

Hi All

I joined your group today ....I am in West TN, north of Memphis. My son is going to be entering BC July 15th. That was changed just today. Thought he was going August 2nd. He will be a corpsman. Going through lots of different emotions at the moment. Up and down. I am glad to have friends on here that are at least in the same state as myself. Look forward to being a part of this group. Take care, Maureen

My sailor will be home tomorrow night. Gets 4 days to move my DIL out to Goose Creek. I absolutely cannot wait to see him!!!! All I want to do is touch his face! The last time I laid eyes on him was getting on the airport shuttle on 2/10. He has requested pot roast with potatoes, carrots and onions. So excited about cooking for him again!
