FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

judyann - I'm in Springfield, a hop-skip-jump away!! my sailor is heading to A school (eventually LOL) in Goose Creek, as long as he passes everything he'll be MM.

His first choice for duty station is Washington! I just found this out last week!! Of course he's got several months of training before he gets a duty station. How does your sailor like Bremerton?

Hi ladies, I'm a northern middle Tennessee mom. My sailor finished Battle Stations 4/30 and was in THU until last week, now in Ship 17 waiting for transfer orders to A school. This whole website if awesome but it's nice to have southern women to talk to. Some thangs, other folks just might not understand! I look foward to getting to know ya'll.

I am a new TN Navy Mom. My recruit left for Great Lake 6/2. So many emotions! I don't even know how to SPELL military yet!

LeAnna no news is good news, I know it scares me to if I dont hear from Kyle, but sometimes they get so busy, and not think that we still worrie about them. I hope you hear from him soon. we are still looking for someone to do child care if anyone knows anyone please let me know. I hope everyone has a great MOTHERS DAY

Hey ladies if you know anyone from the flood that needs kitchen cabinets, hardwood flooring, or ceramic tile, we do this and have been in business for 20 yrs. thanks and hope everyone has a blessed day and our prayers goes out to the ones in the flood

Hi Suzie, I'm in Rosemark. How long has your son been in? Mine is still in Boot camp PIR is May 27. I can't wait.
