They will always be our little boys.  I know how much I'll miss mine just walking through the house saying...hey mom.....I love you!.

Hey C - we got to go to Norfolk to see him just before Christmas and he was here last August.  He had some girl troubles and is just needing a few days of hometown comfort I think.  Regardless of why, I am thankful that he wants to see us for a few days and sleep in his old room, etc.  Makes me feel like he is still my little boy even if in a grown up's body, job, life and all that .....

hope everyone is doing well.  I found out last night that my son put in for a short leave to come home for a few days.  Dad is private pilot, we have a boat and 4 wheel drive truck - he is missing mudding, flying and fishing with the family.  Said we are killling him with all our fun pics on facebook! lol - hope his visit will coincide with the two daughters' spring breaks from college.  Then again - might be nice to have him all to myself!

Can't wait to hear if leave is approved and for what dates!!!

Just read mny post and yes, written emotionally!!!!  I think when you see a military person now you want to tell them Thank You!!! buy them their dinner. And if one of them says they are hurting you hurt.    They become your "loved ones"  so I meant that from the heart it really does help to talk to others that have "loved ones" in the service because they are going thru the same feelings you are..

Sherri Rowe, when I mentioned end of Feb I was saying maybe we could do that one closer to where you are at, since Morristown might be somewhat on convenient for you. Like your idea of rotating or doing something in the middle of us all. Sorry I wasn't clear on that.
