OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Brenda yes we are meeting. Have your plans changed? I thought I saw where it was going to rain, so I thought you might not have your class.

I hope everyone is able to go to a meet and greet in your area.  I know with not hearing from  my SR but one time the "Iam here" call, It is very hard.  I am so thankful for this site and friends that have loved ones in the service or loved ones that will be serving.  We are all here for one another.

Any middle TN area moms want to get together for lunch one Saturday?  nothing formal - just a visit and a chat?  RebeccaM - are you available?

Comment by Winski on January 4, 2013 at 9:20am

To all moms in East Tennessee, please give me feedback if you would like to have a "meet and greet" in Morristown at Ruby Tuesday's on Saturday, January 12 at 1:00 p.m.  Kdbgtn I know you already responded for the day; is Ruby Tuesday's all right with you?
