cd, I have those days too! I just go lay in my sons bed and cry. When I look around his room see some of his things I feel like he's just at a friends. I pray and try to keep busy that seams to help me. Hugs!

I sent my son a copy of the requirements and he took them to the CO, It wasn't that big of a deal. The gave him the letter the next day.  I paid my reg fee plus 25.75. Next year it will be reg price plus 21.50.

In order to get the Blue Star (Specality license plate) for your car, your service member must get a letter from the CO and you can take that letter to the County Clerk, pay a little extra and get a Blue Star Plate.

I think if they are still a recruit (in Boot camp) they would have to wait until they get through PIR to get the letter.

I believe some letters sent to Boot Camp are looked at if the envelope is to fat, (They can't have food/candy)

DK mom Sorry to hear you couldn't go. We made monthly trips to Pcola while our son was there after week 3 or so, he put in a Chit (request)  to stay off base for the weekend and it was approved.

I'm getting tired of all the storms. I hope Memphis learned something from the Flooding in Nashville, because I believe it's our turn with flooding. DK are you expecting water?

Parts of the Millington Navy base was evacuated, due to the possibility of flooding.
