BCmomMay ~ My son graduated on May 18th, we missed each other by a week lol. I got to tell you when I think back to that day one of things I will always remember besides picking out my son right away as they marched in, the door opening or my husband's eyes "watering" were those drums. Just knowing our sailors were on the other side of that door and they knew their families, loved ones and friends were there waiting.

Hi jordanmom-Teri, i live over on the west side of the lake in gordonville. Close to cedar mills marina. We moved here about 7 years ago from flower mound. Do you have other children? I only have 1 child so when he left it was really hard at the beginning was hard. Once he got out of bootcamp things got better as you have more communication. Best of luck. Maria

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Spend every moment you can with her. I lost my mom June 27th last year, and was out of town at the end :(

Dr. told us today Mom may only have 2-3 weeks left. Am thankful my sailor got to be home with her , she loves him SO much.Well, she loves ALL of her grandkids but I think he is kind of her favorite! I would appreciate all the prayers you can send over the next few weeks. I am at the "What do I do next" stage. Who do I call, what do I sign, etc...

There is nothing sadder than telling your child good bye knowing they will not return to the nest.

Very proud of him and love him but still miss him!

I am in the north Dallas area too.

Pearl Harbor - My heart goes out to you. It is hard to say goodbye.
