For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

My son has an apartment in Virginia Beach. He has lived there since he got out of boot camp. Be sure you go watch the sun rise one morning on the beach - it is beautiful!!
Brenda Sue where will your son be in VA? Our sailor is in Dahlgren and we are planning to visit him in July if all goes according to plan.

Welcome all our new moms!! I can't believe we have over 1400 members here! I remember getting member 100 - I had to beg a friend from Arizona to join us!!
My son will be home from his last deployment in just a few days! Home for good in just a few months after five years of service!! I just cannot wait! I am going to see him (Virginia) this summer!

I am in Keller, west of Dallas. My buddy graduated boot camp May 18th and is in GL school until August 16th. Welcome new mom's this is such a wonderful site.
Today is my sailor's last day home and it looks like I will end up having to spend it at the hospital again with my Mom instead. He leaves fairly early in the morning tomorrow... :(
Hello all! My son leaves for bootcamp on June 25th. We live in Melissa, TX which is in north Dallas area.
Welcome to all of the new moms who have joined lately! I hope your experience with the Navy is as positive as mine has been! Our son has been in for around 7 years now and we have had such good experiences. His enlistment is up early next year and he is thinking of not reenlisting.
Ladies, just look forward to the next few years.
Well, as expected his time here at home has flown. :( Tomorrow is his last full day here then we take him to the airport Wednesday.He is going to TRY to come again in Jan depending on $$$ of course.
